Warranty & Coverage
Every floor sold by LVT Outlet is backed by a manufacturer's warranty. Coverage applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Full manufacturer's residential warranty on wear layer for products with 0.5mm+ wear protection thickness.
Light commercial and domestic use warranty for products with 0.3–0.4mm wear layer thickness.
What's Covered
| Coverage Type | Detail |
|---|---|
| Manufacture Defects | Delamination, dimensional variance, thickness issues, and plank stability defects per ASTM F3261. |
| Wear Layer | The wear layer will not wear through under normal foot traffic for the warranty period. Scratches, indentations, or gloss reduction are not classified as wear-through. |
| Waterproofing | Planks will not buckle or lose structural integrity from normal household spills (water, wine, cleaning products without harsh chemicals). Spills should be cleaned promptly to prevent mould. |
Warranty Periods by Wear Layer
| Wear Layer | Residential | Commercial / Light Domestic |
|---|---|---|
| 0.5mm – 1mm | 25 Years | 10 Years |
| 0.3mm – 0.4mm | 10 Years | 5 Years |
| 0.2mm | 5 Years | 3 Years |
Most products sold by LVT Outlet carry a 0.5mm or greater wear layer, qualifying for the 25-year residential and 10-year light domestic warranty periods above.
